Nazare Beach is not only a beach but it is also a neighborhood, located by the sea and where the community and the beach have a very strong connection.

One of the most popular in the West, Nazare Beach will certainly be tempted to get your feet wet, or simply enjoy the sand and enjoy the sun.

In the hours when it squeezes you can take refuge in one of the typical canvas tents or cool off with a bath in the cool waters of the Atlantic.

In addition, Nazare is a territory of fishermen and the beach is the ideal place to cross and discover the charms of the typical fishmongers of Nazaré with its seven skirts, a hallmark of this village.

These fishmongers take care of the fish, an activity that you can check out on the beach, in front of the Nazare Cultural Center, where you will find fish drying rack´s, and where you can see the various fishmongers to dry and sell the fish.

Fish is a characteristic product of this village and you can taste it in various ways all over the village.

Very close to Praia da Nazare you can find the Chapel of Santo António and the Centro Cultural da Nazare.

Take the opportunity to contemplate the Fort of São Miguel Arcanjo, one of the main local monuments, located at the tip of the Promontory of Sítio da Nazaré.

Through the Ascensor or Ladeira you can access the Sítio da Nazaré and the wonderful view you have from the Suberco Viewpoint over the Nazaré Beach.
